Don’t miss “The Sound of Music” this weekend, May 2nd, 3rd and 4th.  Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens.

Auditions for “The Sound of Music” will begin Tuesday, February 12th.  If you are interested in a singing role, auditions will be in the High School Music room starting at 2:30.  Auditions will be done one at a time and will continue until everyone has a chance to audition.  Auditions for non-singing roles and callbacks will begin at 3:30 in the High School Auditorium.

There will be callbacks for the high school one-acts plays.  Everyone who auditioned last week is asked to attend callbacks on Tuesday, Dec 18th., after school in the auditorium.  Anyone who still would like to audition is also invited to attend.

Auditions for the Middle School Production of “Briar Rose” will be after school Thursday, November 8th in the Large Group Room until 4:00.  Auditions for this show are open only to Middle School Students.  Performance dates are December 21 and 22, 2007

The Drama Club will be taking a day trip to Pittsburgh to see “The Lion King” in Pittsburgh.

When: February 16, 2008

Cost: $94 per person, this includes the bus trip, ticket for the show and dinner at The Hard Rock Cafe.

Who: This is open to everyone, middle school students must have an adult join them.

Deposit: A $10 deposit is due to Mrs. Ordakowski by October 19th.

Since I want to add a Middle School only show, something that has not been done in quite some time, it needs to have School Board approval.  I have not heard anything as of yet, so it is not a done deal.  So keep your fingers crossed and as soon as I know anything I will pass it along.
